DOHA Games 2006
The 15th Asian Games were held in Doha, Qatar, Dec. 1st -15th, 2006 and Qatar Telecom, (Qtel) QSC was the official Telecom sponsor of the event and responsible for the setting up and operation of the telecommunications infrastructure and services for DAGOC (Doha Asian Games Organizing Committee) and its customers.
Upon contract award to Bechtel Telecommunications (prime contractor) regarding the support of the PMO office of Qtel for the preparation of the Asian Games ‘06, the Converge team was entrusted with the provision of management and implementation consultancy services, as a subcontractor.
