The bicycle is one of man's noblest of ideas. It has taken us places we never thought possible, it has set world records, it has revolutionized transport and connected societies. Cities for Cycling, as an ECF member since 2014, has had one goal: To promote cycling as a sustainable and healthy means of transportation and recreation. They believe the bicycle is a solution to many of the world’s woes. They therefore have an ambition to export both theirs and their members’ expertise worldwide. Exquisitely designed and tailor-made from the ground up the website to exhibit, evoke and inspire. Built on the WordPress platform, the mobile-friendly website offers information and resources to the huge number of people bicycling in our city, and also invites even more Greeks to “get rolling.” Designed to be action-oriented, the site provides users with all the tools they need to start biking, to improve their commute, and to take action on improving the city. The website template along with its well-designed structure, large hero area on the top and perfectly chosen color palette was designed to make this website noticeable on the web.
